At the same time, it is proposed to promote the formation of a large-scale accommodation service chain on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in the direction of supplementing residential land in combination with commerce and services, clearing residential areas at the end of Nguyen Sinh Sac Sreet to build squares, parks, large commercial and service centres.
Poor infrastructure areas should be proposed a list of urban reconstruction areas with specific characteristics of each area and set aside the land fund for public service and social welfare.
Former Deputy Director of Da Nang Institute of Construction Planning Nguyen Van Chung suggested that the consultant should study the initiative to narrow Nguyen Tat Thanh Street to form a walking and cycling route in combination with service development after the traffic volume on this route is reduced.
The consultant should propose to expand the sluice system across Ton Duc Thang Street into Da Co Bridge to ensure drainage and prevent flooding for low-lying areas in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District.
