The Da Nang government has given a nod for a project ‘Programme to link Da Nang Hi-Tech Park with companies located in industrial parks and economic zones in Central Viet Nam during the 2021-2025 period, with a vision to 2030’.

The purpose of the project is to strengthen the connection of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park with economic zones and industrial parks in the key economic zone in Central Viet Nam, as well as to promote exchange and cooperation between industrial businesses in innovating and transferring production technologies.

Additionally, the project aims to increase the attraction of large-scale projects, and enhance the operational efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises, thereby meeting domestic and international market demand in the new context.

Furthermore, a network of high-tech and new industries will be developed, and an innovation ecosystem with the center of being the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park will be established, all creating a driving force for businesses in industrial parks and economic zones to develop quickly and efficiently.

Under the project, between 2021 and 2025, a linkage programme will be carried out, aiming to attract investment projects with high technology content and the attention of large investors in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park.

Another linkage programme to expand markets and boost international cooperation will be implemented, in which linkages will be formed between projects in the city’s Hi-Tech Park and enterprises in industrial parks and economic parks in terms of the input material market and output product distribution.

At the same time, a database of enterprise management of the Hi-Tech Park and industrial parks in Da Nang will be built. A joint training programme for human resource development will be developed in order to ensure both high-quality human resources for the Hi-Tech Park’s long-term development strategy and the successful implementation of production technology innovation and technology transfer activities.

Besides, a framework for exchange and cooperation in the medium and long term between the Authority of the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, and the Authorities of industrial parks and economic zones in the region.

During the 2026-2030 period, a joint program to improve competitiveness for enterprises in hi-tech industrial parks and industrial zones will be developed so as to meet the requirements of a set of standards to attract large corporations and enterprises to invest in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and local industrial parks.

The linkage between the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and companies in industrial parks and economic zones will be formed on the basis of maximising the resources in industrial parks and economic zones on the principle of equality and mutual benefit; and improving competitiveness and operational efficiency of enterprises.
