Train ticket prices reduced after Tet

Starting from today, February 6, the Viet Nam Railways Corporation (VNR) adjusts train schedules on routes after Tet, and reduces train ticket prices by 20%.

Specifically, four pairs of Thong Nhat (North-South) passenger trains run daily between Ha Noi and HCMC: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6 and SE7/SE8.

In the Northern section, a pair of NA1/NA2 passenger trains operate on the Ha Noi - Vinh route daily, four pairs of HP1/HP2, LP2/LP3, LP5/LP6, LP7/LP8 trains on the Ha Noi - Hai Phong route, and a pair of SP3/SP4 trains on the Ha Noi - Lao Cao route.

In the Southern section, a pair of SE21/SE22 trains run daily on the HCMC - Da Nang route, a pair of SNT1/SNT2 trains on the HCMC - Nha Trang route, and a pair of SPT1/SPT2 trains on the HCMC - Phan Thiet route.

In addition, the railway will organise additional trains depending on the needs of passengers.

After the peak of Tet transportation, from February 6, train tickets on these routes are cut by up to 20% depending on the route and the train's brand.

Also, passengers buying train tickets many days in advance of their journey will have the price reduced by up to 30%.
