On Tuesday, the Hai Chau District People's Committee opened a showroom of products under the ‘One Commune, One Product’ (OCOP) programme at 112 Bach Dang, Da Nang.

The move aimed to introduce, promote and connect consumption of OCOP products, as well as popularise high-quality specialties of the city and other localities to consumers.

The OCOP showroom also created opportunities for producers to meet, exchange, improve product quality, advertise their products and boost sales.

This contributed to promoting the link between production and consumption of products, advertising the products widely in the market; effectively implementing the ‘Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods’ campaign in the district, and repelling the production and trading of counterfeit and poor quality goods.

It is known that Hai Chau District currently has five OCOP products certified with 3 stars or more. They are Hung Hong ‘cha bo’ (beef paste) made by the Hung Hong production establishment at alley K106/9C Ngo Gia Tu Street, Minkai 'lap xuong tuoi' (fresh Chinese sausages) by the Ho Thi Thuy Tram family-run facility at K7/6 Quang Trung Street, beef paste by the Mrs Kim family-run facility at alley No. K129/70 Tieu La, and BanaBee honey by the Davina Hi-tech Agriculture JSC on 70 Phan Dang Luu. These are products of the group of processed foods that are produced with quality and reasonable prices for consumers.
