Da Nang plans to inaugurate the Peace Monument and the March 29 Square at the first phase, and the Tuyen Son - Tuy Loan riverside route on April 28 in a bid to mark the 48^th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Specifically, the inauguration ceremony for the project of upgrading the Peace Monument and expanding the March 29 Square at 1^st phase is slated to take place at the campus of the Peace Monument on September 2, Hai Chau District, between 8:30am and 9:30am.

It is known that the project is divided into 2 phases with a total investment of VND212.78 billion funded by the city budget and social resources. The first phase of the project costs nearly VND35 billion.

The project is being implemented during the 2022-2025 period. The city’s Management Board of Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects is the investor and manager of this project.

This is an important cultural and spiritual work, bringing great meaning to the people of the city.

Besides, the inauguration ceremony of the Tuyen Son - Tuy Loan riverside route will be held at 10:00am - 11:00am on the same day.

As one of the city’s key traffic projects, the Tuyen Son - Tuy Loan Loan riverside route project was kick-started in 2017 with a total investment of more than VND745 billion from the city budget, of which the construction and installation bidding package was worth VND526 billion.

The about 7km-long route passes through Hoa Tho Tay and Hoa Tho Dong wards in Cam Le District, and Hoa Chau and Hoa Nhon communes in Hoa Vang District.
