The Hoa Bac Tourism Week 2023 themed ‘Aspirations for Hoa Bac’ officially opened in the namesake commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, on Friday evening.

The programme aims to promote the potential, advantages and products of Hoa Bac tourism in particular and Hoa Vang rural tourism in general. It also opens up good opportunities for Hoa Vang District to develop tours and create tourism development linkages between urban and rural areas, and between the district and other localities in mid-central region.

In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Hoa Vang District People's Committee Vice Chairman Nguyen Thuc Dung said that over the past years, Hoa Vang District has implemented many mechanisms and policies to support the community, investors and enterprises involved in agricultural tourism, and to attract more tourists to the locality.

Through the Hoa Bac Tourism Week 2023, leaders of Hoa Vang District wish to create more opportunities for localities, businesses and investors in the tourism industry to exchange and share experiences, and iron out snags to promote the tourism development, he added.

"We look forward to receiving suggestions from representatives of businesses and experts. I hope that, after this event, the relationships between Hoa Vang District and its localities and partners will increasingly develop in both quality and quantity" Vice Chairman Dung noted.

The Hoa Bac Tourism Week 2023 lasts until May 1. Visitors to the Hoa Bac Commune will have a chance to enjoy and experience many unique artistic, cultural, sports and culinary performances, including the ‘Cultural - Sports Festival and Restoration of Co Tu’s Traditional Festivals’ programme, paragliding performances, a SUP competition, a rural market, performances of ‘gong’ and ‘tung tung da da’ dances, and others.
