Approval of partial adjustment of the construction master plan of Lien Chieu Port and Lang Van project
The Da Nang authorities have approved the partial adjustment of the master plan for Da Nang's Lien Chieu Port and Lang Van resort and entertainment complex by 2030 with a vision towards 2045.
The focus will be on adjusting 72ha out of the 1,431ha of the northwestern side of the city within the administrative boundary of Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District.
Specifically, the total land area for tourism will be reduced by 56ha; that for isolated green 12ha; that for trees and public green space 2ha, and that for industrial production activities 2ha.
Meanwhile, the production forest land will increase by 50ha, the security and defence land 8ha, the technical infrastructure land 11ha, and warehouse land 3ha.
At the same time, about 60ha of tourist land and green land for public use at urban level will be converted into production forest land adjacent to the Hai Van pass road and north of the security - defence land area. The purpose is to ensure the preservation of the natural forest areas in accordance with the planning of 3 types of forests being reviewed in accordance with the provisions of the national Forest Law.
In addition, the construction of the Lien Chieu Port and the coastal route connecting to the port have been updated into the city’s master plan adjustment project.
Besides, the area of technical infrastructure focal land will increase by about 7ha and that of traffic land by about 4ha.
A part of isolated green land along the coastal road connecting to the Lien Chieu Port is also updated in the planning project.
