Da Nang welcomes about 321,620 visitors during 5-day holiday break
A spokesperson for the Da Nang Department of Tourism announced on Wednesday that Da Nang welcomed about 321,620 visitors during the five-day break for the National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers' Day (May 1) holidays, up 26.6% against 2022.

286,820 of them were domestic tourists, up 16.3% compared to 2022, whilst the remaining 34,800 were foreigners, 4.7 times higher than the figure in 2022.
Some tourist attractions in the city welcomed a large number of visitors during the holiday. In particular, the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area attracted nearly 65,000 visitors, an increase of 50% against 2022; the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park about 20,000; the Marble Mountains Tourist Area about 28,000, double that of 2022; and the Mikazuki Water Park 365 more than 13,000.
On the occasion, the cruise ship Azamara Quest, carrying a total of 300 British, American, Australian and Canadian guests, docked at the city’s Tien Sa Port.
The total number of flights to Da Nang during the holidays of April 30 and May 1 reached 636, an increase of 36 compared to the same period in 2022, bringing about 84,667 passengers.
In particular, there were 406 domestic flights with 57,991 passengers and 230 international flights with 26,676 passengers. On average, the city received 128 flights every day, including 82 domestic flights and 46 international ones.
During this year's 5-day break, many special cultural and tourism events and programmes were organised in the city, including the Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2023 from April 28 to May 3, and the Hoa Bac Tourism Week 2023 from April 25 to May 1.
Tourist spots and accommodation establishments hosted many exciting activities and events, and offered attractive incentives to serve residents and visitors.
