The retail prices of petrol and oil continued to be revised down in the latest adjustment made at 3:00pm on Thursday by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.

Specifically, the retail price of RON 95-III was reduced by VND1,320 VND to VND21,000 per litre, whilst that of E5 RON 92 was cut by VND1,300 VND to VND20,130 per litre.

Similarly, the prices of oil products also fell sharply in the latest adjustment.

In particular, diesel is now sold at VND17,650 per litre, a decrease of VND600, and kerosene VND17,970 per litre, down VND550.

Meanwhile, the price of mazut dropped by VND640 to VND14,860 per kg.

The Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance decided to extract VND500 per litre from E5 RON92 and RON 95 petrol, and VND300 per litre/kg from oil products for the petrol price stabilisation fund.
