Trade connection between suppliers and trade promotion organisations
Solutions and ideas for connecting trade between suppliers in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions and export enterprises and trade promotion organisations’ were in intensive discussions at a programme in Da Nang on Thursday.

As reported by Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Quang Nam at the aforementioned event, Da Nang is one of the Vietnamese localities with a fairly rapid economic recovery after COVID-19. The city's goods export turnover in 2022 reached over US$2.1 billion, up 17.9% from 2021.
The city's main export items include textiles and garments, seafood, electrical equipment and electronic products, handicrafts and wood products, finished rubber, and children's toys with an average annual growth increase of over 17%.
Up to now, Da Nang enterprises have exported to about 120 countries and territories worldwide, mainly Japan, the US and EU.
Within the framework of the programme, the speakers focused on sharing the advantages and disadvantages for local businesses when expanding consumption markets for their products across the country, along with standards and import demand at distribution centres, retail systems and distribution channels in support for product consumption connection.
At the same time, there were discussions about the removal of common problems during the domestic consumption of products, solutions to help businesses promote the export of goods directly to foreign distribution networks and effectively participate in the global production value chain.
In addition, at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra District, typical products with great export potential from 15 cities and provinces across the Central Viet Nam - Central Highlands regions went on display with the participation of more than 300 suppliers, enterprises, and production entities.
The 4-day exhibition is expected to attract about 12,000 domestic and international visitors.
