Four Da Nang-based enterprises are participating in the three-day 18^th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF), which opened in Guangdong Province, China, on Tuesday.

They are the My Phuong Food Co., Ltd with baked coconut cakes, the Southeast Pharmaceutical Bao Linh Co., Ltd., the Adeva Natural Co., Ltd., and the Ba Lieu Me 'banh kho me' (dried sesame seed cakes) production facility.

It is known that about 80 Vietnamese businesses are attending the fair with 120 booths.

The activity is part of the Ministry of Industry and Trade-launched national programme on trade promotion in 2023, aiming to support enterprises to maintain export activities and participate in new distribution channels in China that are being interrupted due to COVID-19.

According to the Da Nang Centre for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion, the fair provides the good opportunity for local businesses to grasp information about the market, update regulations on standards of imported goods, guide them to convert production according to market signals, standardise production processes, improve product quality, gradually switch to official export when exploiting the Chinese market, and increase stable exports to potential markets.
