The Da Nang Events’ Association held its first Congress for the 2023-2026 term on Wednesday.

Speaking at the congress, Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports Pham Tan Xu said that Da Nang has many advantages in terms of beautiful scenery, developed infrastructure system, and tangible and intangible cultural values. Thanks the advantages, Da Nang is oriented to develop into a centre for regional and international events and festivals.

He, therefore, stressed the necessity for the establishment of the municipal Events’ Association in contributing to the development of the city's events field; maintaining and creating sustainability for the brands that Da Nang has achieved in the past time; and promoting and developing the city’s socio-economic development.

At the event, 23 members were elected to the Association’s Executive Committee for the 2023-2026 term.
