The model ‘Cashless payment market’ has recently been launched at the Tuy Loan Market, Hoa Phong Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, in addition to the signing ceremony for its implementation in the total 11 communes in this suburban district.

The aforementioned events aimed to encourage people to use non-cash payment, towards the development of digital payment, digital economy and digital society, at the same time, call for more support resources from private enterprises in terms of providing electronic and digital payment services, contributing to speeding up the process of developing the digital transformation plan mapped out by the district and the city at large.

Such a practical model will facilitate local people to experience a modern payment method under the motto of “Cashless: one change, ten thousand good things". Also at the programme, 11 communes in the district signed a commitment to deploy the model.

It is known that after 3 months of pilot implementation, at the Tuy Loan mMrket, 250 out of the total 570 stall holders have used bank accounts, smart phones and be ready for cashless transactions. The Hoa Vang People's Committee has invested in 7 free high-speed wifi lines, contributing to promoting digital transformation activities at the market.

In addition, under the Hoa Vang People's Committee - implemented non-cash payment plans, all communes have cooperated with 8 banks and telecommunications enterprises to open more than 2,000 accounts and printed QR codes for family-run businesses and traders on already-registered routes and at markets.
