Da Nang Port named among top 10 innovative logistics enterprises

The Da Nang Port has been named among the top 10 innovative and effective enterprises in logistics sector in 2023.

The result has been revealed at a recent ceremony co-organised in Ha Noi by the Viet Nam Investment Review and the Viet Nam Business Research JSC (Viet Research).

The programme to vote for Top 50 Most Innovative Enterprises in Viet Nam (VIE50) in 2023 is held annually for the purpose of honouring those that effectively apply innovation in production and business activities and have good growth potential. The ranking has been made based on the business and innovative results of enterprises.

As an indispensable link in the supply chain of logistics services in Central Viet Nam, the Da Nang Port has been constantly making innovations in business and marketing activities, and always paying attention to the fundamental factor of ‘people’, over the past time.

Besides, the port has well awared of the importance of innovation in improving the operational efficiency and market competition, thereby promoting the application of information technology, automating processes and optimising transportation systems to enhance flexibility and customer service.

Simultaneously, the port has been approaching a customer-centric digital transformation, ensuring that customers have the ability to interact ‘at all times and everywhere’.

Additionally, by transactional process improvement Kaizen, the Da Nang Port has brought customers new experience, convenience, speed, procedure simplification and document digitisation with the aim of enhancing service quality.

The promotion of information technology application has helped the Da Nang Port to change business processes, improve working conditions and put RPA robots into operation, thereby changing the working method of workers from performing to supervising, supporting and freeing up most of the labour at the Port.

In 2023, the port continues to promote development, application of science and technology, and construction of modern and synchronous infrastructure system, hereby building an overall picture of digitisation in the period 2020-2025 with a vision to 2030.

By 2025, the Da Nang Port targets to turn itself into a fully digitalised port by applying many modern and advanced technologies at home and abroad in operation, exploitation and management in order to reduce costs and increase competitiveness.
