Rail passengers will get great deals by booking advance tickets with Viet Nam’s Southern trains, according to the Southern Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC (Saratrans). Accordingly, 6,000 tickets will go on sale for a number of seats and beds on certain trains on Viet Nam’s Southern train line, discounted by 30%. To get the discounted prices you have to book from 8:00 a.m. on September 22 through October 28, and travel between October 1 and October 31. You can save 30% on rail fares when buying an advance ticket 3 days or more ahead of travel.

Saratrans will apply the discount program to advance tickets for individual passengers who travel on SE3/4 and SE7/8 trains on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays for distances of 400km or over, and on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for distances of 500km or over, on the Saigon – Ha Noi route.

At the same time, Saratrans will also apply the discount program to advance tickets for individual passengers who travel on SE21/22 trains on the Saigon - Da Nang route for distances of 400km or over, on SNT1/2 trains on the Nha Trang - Saigon route for distances of 250 km or over, on SPT1/2 trains on the Phan Thiet - Saigon routes for distances of 150 km or over.

Accordingly, the price of train tickets for travel from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang will be VND 180,000 while that for travel from Ho Chi Minh to Da Nang will be VND 340,000.  Especially, rail fares to get to Ha Noi from Ho Chi Minh City will be VND 615,000.
