A group of officials of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology has visited and worked at educational centers in Singapore. The purpose of the visit is to connect and promote start-up and innovation activities, thereby creating a favourable and potential learning and business environment in the city.

During their visit to the Republic Polytechnic of Singapore, the Da Nang delegation was introduced to the Startup Development Center, and was proposed to form the Da Nang-Singapore Innovation Space in both localities.

In addition, the Da Nang visitors expressed their wish for the Republic Polytechnic of Singapore to share experience on how the government can support startup projects, and how to organise exchange activities and training programs on incubation operations, between the schools and startup centers in Singapore.

Meanwhile, the Da Nang delegation visited the Reactor School to learn about the startup education and incubation model implemented by the Department and the Singapore Management University.

The Da Nang visitors asked for support from the school to organise international innovation startup events in Da Nang and share experience in developing innovation startup centers at universities and colleges.
