Da Nang -Thailand's Don Mueang direct flight opens on Nov. 29
On November 29, Vietnam Airlines, Viet Nam's national flag carrier will start operating the Da Nang - Don Mueang (Thailand) air service.

Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines will operate this new route with a frequency of 7 flights/week using Airbus A321 aircraft.
Flights depart from the Da Nang International Airport at 8:00 p.m. and depart from Don Muong airport at 5:00 a.m. every day of the week.
On the occasion of opening the route, Vietnam Airlines has launched preferential round-trip fares on the Da Nang - Don Muong route with prices starting from only US$ 140 (equivalent to VND 3,199,000, including taxes and fees).
This fare offer is valid for ticket purchases from now until December 31, 2023, for travel between November 29, 2023, and March 31, 2024.
In addition, when purchasing flexible Economy Class tickets during this period, passengers will receive a complimentary upgrade to Business Class and an additional piece of checked baggage beyond the standard allowance.
This is Vietnam Airlines’ effort to connect with Bangkok's second main airport to maintain sustainable growth and better meet the diverse needs of passengers, along with the goal of developing cultural, economic, political and social exchanges between the two countries.
In order to realise the wishes of the leaders of the two countries and take practical and timely actions to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Viet Nam-Thailand Strategic Partnership, contributing to promoting bilateral economic, tourism and cultural trade, Vietnam Airlines is actively coordinating with relevant agencies to deploy the opening of the new air service on schedule.
Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates 49 flights per week on direct routes between Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Bangkok.

Thailand is Vietnam Airlines’s most supplied destination in its Southeast Asia routes. In the first nine months of 2023, the number of passengers transported on flights between Vietnam and Thailand by Vietnam Airlines has tripled compared to the same period in 2022, demonstrating the strong recovery and potential for development in this market.
