The Da Nang Department of Tourism has organised digital transformation training for more than 50 travel businesses and tourist attractions across the city.

At the programme, experts exchanged a lot of related information about digital transformation, updated 5 aspects of digital transformation, as well as the importance of digital transformation for travel businesses and tourist destinations, improving tourism business efficiency in the digital age such as innovation in building tourism products, exploiting data value for business growth, sales management and optimisation of sales experiences with streamlined, effective sales processes, customer journeys and customer experience optimization methods, digital transformation application solutions through software and digital platforms.

According to Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism Tan Van Vuong, digital transformation makes an important contribution to restructuring the business towards streamlining, building a modern management model, and gradually automating some intermediary services and stages.

At the same time, digital transformation helps innovate human resources, build databases, and enhance the ability to analyze tourist behavior and trends, support market expansion, improve customer experience, increase productivity and bring brought high value.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism expects that through training sessions, businesses will gradually standardize business activities to serve customers, improve digital skills, enhance tourism business efficiency and sales management, optimise customer experience and apply digital transformation and business growth in the digital age.
