The US diplomat also expressed his joy at many positive results from the cooperative relationships between Viet Nam and the US in recent years. He added that Viet Nam was one of the USA's major trading partners in Southeast Asia, whilst the US was among top 10 countries investing in Viet Nam.

The US always respected Viet Nam's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the relationship between the two countries is increasingly tightening thanks to their great efforts. Leaders of Viet Nam and the US issued a Joint Leaders’ Statement on elevating the Viet Nam-US ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership on the occasion of President Joe Biden’s State visit to Viet Nam from September 10-11.

Ambassador Marc E.Knapper acknowledged the positive contributions made by the Amcham Da Nang and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs' Association to strengthen the bilateral relations of the two countries.

He also expressed his pleasure at the rapid growth of US businesses in Da Nang, such as the Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. He pledged that his country will continue supporting Viet Nam to develop technology and human resources in the future.

"We look forward to calling on more US projects to invest in Da Nang, significantly contributing to helping Viet Nam achieve its goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045" US Ambassador Marc E.Knapper emphasised.

Therefore, the city wanted to invite more US investors and businesses with financial and technological capacity to visit and learn about the business investment environment and cooperation opportunities in the city, the city leader added.

Vice Chairman Minh vowed that the municipal authorities would create the most favourable conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs to maximise their talents, intelligence and enthusiasm, as well as improve their production and business capacity.
