The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort have been named as world's best for wellness retreats at this year's Destination Deluxe Awards.

The Mi Sol Journey package at Mi Sol Spa of InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort in Da Nang was named the winner of the "Holistic Treatment of the Year" category.

According to the resort’s website, the Mi Sol Spa is named after the tones in the musical scale – do, re, mi, fa, sol, la and ti – each of which has a specific vibration frequency and can enhance the flow of “qi”, or natural energy, around the body. For example, mi – 528 hertz – can stimulate love and restore equilibrium, while sol – 741 hertz – cleanses the body of toxins. Using tuning forks to harness these frequencies and blending them with ancient wisdom and modern science, this innovative wellness centre will help every traveller to achieve complete relaxation and rejuvenation.

In addition, the Creative Healing Retreat at TIA Wellness Resort in the central city of Da Nang ranked second for ‘Wellness Program of the Year’ category, coming after Glowing Flow of the Heart Retreat in Italy.
