At the Viet Nam Innovation Challenge (VIC) programme recently organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, the ‘Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management Platform for global fashion brand - Wetex’ developed by the Retex Technology Joint Stock Company was honoured in the group of 12 outstanding solutions of the year, winning the InnoBiz Efficiency Award.

Previously, this solution had also won first prize at the Da Nang Innovation Startup Competition in 2023.

This is a digital platform, connecting international fashion brands with factories in Viet Nam with the goal of promoting global sustainable fashion supply chains with technology.

In particular, the Wetex has set ESG (environmental, social and governance) standards for factories participating in the network, significantly contributing to the sustainability goals of the fashion industry.

To date, Wetex has connected more than 1,000 orders with garment factories in the network, improving production processes, reducing time and costs, creating a sustainable fashion supply chain for brands, enhancing the value of production in Viet Nam and ensuring stable income for workers.
