The Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency, the Authority of Da Nang Hi-tech Park and Industrial Zones  (DHPIZA), the FPT Information Systems Company Limited (FPT IS) and Dell Technologies recently jointly organize a transformation seminar on digital transformation for FDI enterprises with the theme ‘Digital transformation of production in the new era: when automation combines AI”.

At the event, businesses discussed models and roadmaps for digital transformation and the modernisation of production management for manufacturing enterprises in Da Nang. As reported by Mr. Le Hoang Phuc, the Deputy Director of the Information Investment Promotion and Support Agency, as of October 2023, the city has attracted 1,045 FDI projects with a total investment capital of over US$ 4.2 billion, reaching 135% compared to the same period of 2022.

FDI enterprises play an important role in the field of production, export of goods and creating jobs for workers, contributing to supporting local enterprises to participate in the global value chain and promote economic restructuring towards modern industry. The city always creates the best conditions for businesses to develop their business and operate effectively.

Sharing about digital transformation experience, Mr. Than Minh Ngoc, Senior Vice President and Deputy Director of the Enterprise Division of FPT IS Company said that, together with experts from Dell Technologies, FPT IS will accompany on the digital transformation process for the city's FDI enterprises, accessing effective digital transformation solutions, shaping a digital transformation roadmap according to global technology trends, focusing on applying automation solutions in production, determining goals, directions and ways to step up IT applications.
