The Da Nang government has just issued Decision No. 2941 on the establishment of the Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center for Research and Training (DSAC).

Accordingly, DSAC is a public service unit under the municipal Department of Information and Communications. It has legal status, uses seal and opens accounts for transactions according to regulations.

The centre will carry out research and design training activities in the fields of microchips, semiconductors, artificial intelligence development, technology transfer, and international cooperation.

It will also be responsible for mobilising resources, as well as linking and cooperating with domestic and foreign partners, in order to promote research and training in IC and semiconductor design and artificial intelligence development in the city according to provisions of law.

The municipal Department of Internal Affairs is assigned to assume the prime responsibility for receiving tasks, personnel, records, and documents corresponding to the task of managing, monitoring, and resolving issues related to management and policy for developing high-quality human resources in the public sector of the city (including policies to attract, train, foster and manage high-quality human resources in the public sector).

The municipal Department of Information and Communications is tasked with reorganising the Centre for High Quality Human Resource Development into DSAC.
