Six more trains will run between Ho Chi Minh City and other localities, providing an additional more than 7,000 seats to serve people’s travel demand during Tet, the year’s biggest traditional holiday.

Accordingly, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC will operate passenger trains TN4 and SE24 from HCMC to Ha Noi on January 30 (the 20^th day of the last lunar month in the Year of the Cat), SE14 and SE16 from HCMC to Vinh on January 31 (the 21^st day of the last lunar month in the Year of the Cat), and SPT4 from HCMC to Phan Thiet on February 11 and 12 (the 2^nd and 3^rd days of the first lunar month in the Year of the Dragon).

Tickets are sold via all channels, including the websites of www.dsvn.vn and www.vetau.com.vn, e-wallet apps, train ticket apps, stations, ticket offices, and ticket sales switchboards.

Previously, on December 26, 2023, the railway industry added 3,000 tickets for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.  They are for passengers travelling from HCMC, Di An (Binh Duong) and Bien Hoa (Dong Nai) in the south to stations, from Quang Ngai Province to Ha Noi, and vice versa, from January 31 to February 19, 2024 (the 21^st day of the last lunar month to the 10^th day of the first lunar month).

At the same time, the railway industry also ran 8 more trains, with more than 4,000 seats, from HCMC - Ha Noi and vice versa, and from Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai to HCMC.
