The Furama Resort Danang, the only representative of Central Viet Nam, has been honoured in top 5 prestigious hotels and resorts in Viet Nam in 2023.

The other honourees are the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, the Park Hyatt Saigon, the JW Marriott Hanoi, and the Caravelle Saigon.

The information was unveiled by the Viet Nam Report JSC (Viet Nam Report) at a ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday to announce Top 10 prestigious tourism companies and Top 5 prestigious hotels and resorts in 2023.

Accordingly, companies, plus hotels and resorts, underwent assessment based on the following criteria: financial capacity reflected in financial reports from 2022 to the present; media reputation assessed through the Media Coding method – coding articles about the company on influential media channels; and surveys of research subjects and relevant parties conducted from October to December 2023.

According to Mr. Le Dinh Nam, Deputy General Director of the Bac My An Tourist Area JSC, the Furama Resort Danang is well-known as a high-end beach resort in Asia with notable awards. It has been chosen as the venue for many international events and conferences such as APEC 2006, APEC 2017 and the 16^th Conference of The ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information. All contributed to promoting the tourism of Da Nang in particular, and Viet Nam in general, on the world tourism map.

Core values such as heritage, cuisine, and sustainable development help the Furama Resort Danang maintain its leading position in the tourism industry, bringing a luxurious and classy travel experience to tourists at both home and abroad.

It is known that the top 5 prestigious hotels and resorts in Viet Nam are the results of independent research conducted by the Viet Nam Report. The purpose is to seek and honour tourism and hotel companies with good resilience to overcome difficulties caused by COVID-19, thereby achieving remarkable achievements in providing services for customers, and creating an impressive image in the eyes of the public and investors.
