Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong presided a meeting on Thursday to evaluate and classify 48 One Commune-One Product (OCOP) products in 2023.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Cuong highly appreciated great efforts of production facilities, and business households, in perfecting and improving quality of their products in order to meet OCOP certification criteria, especially upgrading products from 3 to 4 stars.

He hoped that, after the evaluation and classification, unique OCOP products for each ward, commune and city will be created, thereby widely promoting them to consumers at both home and abroad.

In 2023, a total of 48 OCOP products were evaluated and classified, including 36 new products and 12 re-improved ones.

In particular, 26 products were certificated as 4-star ones under the so-called OCOP model.

They were Kinbe beef jerky and butter shrimps produced by the Davifood Vietnam Technology JSC; herbal toothpaste by the Adeva Naturals Natural Products Co., Ltd.; scad fish by the Hong Phat Khang Trading and Services JSC; 5 sesame dried cake products of all kinds by the Ba Lieu Me 'banh kho me' (dried sesame seed cakes) production facility; freeze-dried baby cordyceps and freeze-dried cordyceps by the Da Nang Cordyceps Development Investment Company Limited; Hiyoufarm scented candles by the Central Vietnam Production, Trade and Service Co., Ltd.; Mr. Chanh’s ‘tre’ (a kind of fermented pork) by the Nguyen Chanh business household; Thao Sinh beef patties by the Nguyen Phi Sinh Business Household; Cay Sang fish cakes by the Nguyen Van Thao Business Household, children's rattan rocking chairs and rattan clocks by the An Khe Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative; a set of agarwood pens by the Dana Elite Production, Trading and Service Co., Ltd; toasted coconut cake with sesame and grilled coconut cake with green beans by the My Phuong Food Co., Ltd.; Peco Gold smoked pork sausage and Peco Gold pork sausage by the PecoFood Company Limited; the Banarita Glamping Farm of the Banarita Trade and Service Investment Company Limited; and ION-PRO alkaline ionized drinking water of the Toan Gia Phu Production and Trading Company Limited.
