More than 300 students in Da Nang attend startup talk show

Over 300 students from universities and colleges across Da Nang attended a talk show entitled ‘Starting a business with Shark Hung Anh’ held at the University of Economics - the University of Da Nang on Saturday.

During the event, the participants were provided with knowledge about startup as well as a realistic view of market trends connected with majors in the current period. The event aimed to create a connecting environment for students with the same passion for startup.

At the talk show, Mr. Le Hung Anh (Shark Hung Anh), the founder and CEO of the Bin Corporation JSC, provided the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes that students and trainees need to remember and develop before starting the entrepreneurial journey.

He also shared factors that determined the success and failure of a startup project. In particular, the speaker gave useful advice for young people who are planning to start a business.

Along with that, Mr. Hung Anh and other speakers answered questions from students and participants such as ‘is there a shift compared to traditional startups?’; ‘What are the characteristics of startup decisions?’; ‘Opportunities and challenges when implementing a global marketing strategy for businesses?’.

The Talk show ‘Starting a business with Shark Hung Anh’ is the opening activity of the Startup Runway 2024 Competition themed ‘Toward a New Era: Empowering Sustainable Entrepreneurship’.

Organised by the University of Economics, the purpose of the annual competition is to create a useful playground for students of universities and colleges in Da Nang and across the country who have the same passion and interest in innovative startups.

Held in 2016 for the first time, the competition has so far supported many startup projects and ideas with practical meaning, therefore bringing the efficiency to the community and society. The Startup Runway competition has made a prominent mark in the startup ecosystem in Viet Nam.
