In anticipation of the 2024 summer tourist season, tourist areas, attractions and tourism service businesses across Da Nang have launched many incentive programmes to improve service quality with the desire to attract more tourist arrivals.

This year, in an attempt to stimulate domestic tourism, the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area has launched a gratitude programme for the people of Quang Nam - Da Nang with preferential prices.

Specifically, tourists with permanent residence in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province this March enjoy up to 50% discount, only VND350,000/adult and VND250,000/child. If buying a combo of a cable car ticket and a lunch buffet portion, the visitor from Quang Nam - Da Nang is eligible for a preferential price policy of VND650,000/adult and VND400,000/child.

Director of Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area Nguyen Lam An said that this programme is the first launch for a series of new and attractive things at the tourist area for domestic and international tourists and the people of Quang Nam and Da Nang in particular in 2024.

Not only will there be incentive programmes, but there will also be countless unique experiences, exciting events and festivals that will be renewed, or for the first time available at the tourist area. Tourists coming to the tourist area on this occasion, in addition to admiring the beautiful and colourful flower gardens, they can also immerse themselves in the passionate festival atmosphere with tango and samba dances and enjoy spring melodies and vibrant street dances in minishows in most time frames of the day.

In order to facilitate travel services for tourists, recently a bus route from the Da Nang International Airport going straight to the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area has been opened with prices from VND 8,000 and VND30,000 for the one - hour ride.

Similarly, in a similar purpose of attracting visitors, the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa also has a gratitude programme exclusively for the people of Quang Nam and Da Nang. Accordingly, in March, there isa ticket discount programme for residents and tourists at the Mikazuki 365 Water Park with (VND105,000/child ticket, VND 210,000/adult ticket).

Residents and tourists can freely have fun at the four-season water park with a wave pool, the children's pool combined with a colourful play area, slides, a lazy river. Meanwhile, at the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, from the beginning of 2024, the tourist area will introduce new services such as a bird garden, a love forest, love garden, expanded picnic area and an extended dinosaur park.

In addition to programmes and incentives of tourist areas, on this occasion, the city's tourism industry, tourism associations, and businesses are also preparing tourism stimulus programmes to attract tourists to Da Nang. This programme is part of a series of general activities of the destination. It is expected that there will be vacation packages combined with free tickets for visiting tourist attractions or experience art shows and festival events and culinary tours to serve tourists.

Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An said that in addition to preferential prices, stimulus activities focus on increasing experiential values and complimentary services to meet the increasingly diverse needs of tourists. These activities will be deployed regularly and continuously to increase communication effects and spread the image of the Da Nang tourist destination.
