Rewarding female nurses for saving Indian tourist
Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh on Thursday signed a decision on awarding a certificate of merit to Ms. Dang Thi Ha, 29, a nurse working at Bach Mai Hospital in the capital city of Ha Noi.

Ms. Ha was the person who gave first aid to an Indian tourist for cardiac arrest at the Bep Trang Restaurant, Son Tra District, Da Nang, helping the tourist escape the critical situation.
On the evening of March 24, Ms. Ha and her friends were enjoying dinner at the Bep Trang Restaurant when they saw the Indian customer suffered cardiac arrest. Immediately, as a nurse, Ms. Ha did her utmost to support the tourist. He regained his heart pulse and was taken to the hospital for emergency and then overcame his critical condition and his health was stabilized. He has returned to his hometown for treatment.
Accordingly, the municipal Department of Tourism highly appreciated Ms. Ha for the timely action to save the live of the Indian tourist. This is a noble gesture of the medical worker, and at the same time has the value of spreading the hospitable spirit of the Vietnamese people and the destination of Da Nang in the hearts of tourists. Therefore, the Department of Tourism sent a letter of thanks and decided to award a certificate of merit to Ms. Ha.
