Vietravel launches first charter flight between Japan and Da Nang
Vietravel Airlines operated its first charter flight between Japan and Da Nang on Friday.

Launched by the Da Nang branch of the Vietravel Company in cooperation with Vietravel Airlines, the flight brought 200 Vietnamese passengers to Japan from Da Nang International Airport, and 100 tourists from Japan to Da Nang.
Representatives of leaders of the municipal Department of Tourism and the Vietravel Company welcomed and gave flowers to passengers on the first charter flight to the city at Da Nang International Airport.
The flights marked the great efforts of tourism businesses in expanding the airline’s flight network in international markets, significantly contributing to attracting international visitors to Da Nang, and Central Viet Nam as a whole, in the 2024-2025 period.
It is known that, during the year, Vietravel will coordinate with Japanese partners to officially launch 3 more charter flights on the Japan - Viet Nam route. The number of flights may continue to increase depending on market demand.
Vietravel Airlines is currently operating 5 domestic routes connecting Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with major tourist cities such as Da Nang, Phu Quoc, and Quy Nhon.
As for the international market, the airline is currently operating direct flights between Bangkok and Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City with a frequency of 11 flights per week during golden hours.
According to Mrs. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietravel, the company is always willing to coordinate with relevant departments, agencies and partners at home and abroad to organise cultural exchange activities, festivals, events, and market surveys between Da Nang and Japan.
She added that Da Nang had all favourable conditions to lure more groups of international tourists, including beautiful beaches, developed infrastructure and geographical position of being the gateway to world cultural heritages.
