Tourist attractions in Da Nang are bustling with visitors during the 5-day break for the Reunification Day and International Workers’ Day holiday.

Da Nang beaches are crowded with people

Da Nang’s beaches are attracting high numbers of locals and tourists who wish to escape the summer heat and participate in a wide range of captivating activities within the framework of the ongoing Beach Tourism Season 2024.

Meanwhile, visitors to the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area can experience new arts performances such as water and land puppet shows.

To meet the increasing fun and entertainment demand of tourists during the holiday, the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park has launched many new activities, including ‘bai choi’ (folk songs) performances, the ‘Jurassic Secrets - Wonders of birds and animals’ show, expanding the dinosaur park, and putting into operation the bird garden, love forest, and picnic area.

Similarly, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area is also a favourite destination among locals and tourists. In the first two days of the holiday, the venue welcomed about 2,500 - 3,000 visitors each day. However, due to the hot weather, the number of visitors here has not been as expected.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, from April 27 - May 1, Da Nang will receive about 624 flights, equivalent to the same period in 2023. The number of flights during the holiday is estimated to rise by 17% compared to normal days. The city is expected to welcome more than 103,000 visitors, an increase of 4% compared to the same period in 2023.
