The Da Nang Culinary Culture Association, in coordination with related units, is running the culinary event entitled ‘Savory Da Nang’. In attendance at the event on Saturday was Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong.

The event is taking place on April 20 and 21 at the Gio Coffee & More's House on Xuan Thuy Street, Cam Le District with the desire to preserve and promote culinary cultural heritage values through the display of Da Nang’s signature dishes and culinary products to a large number of food lovers, especially tourists.
Besides, the event also helps connect partner resources, creating the best environment for association members, partners, chefs and entrepreneurs in the food industry to boost exchanges and experience new, profound and indigenous culture.
During the 2-day event, there are many activities such as the workshop ‘The flavours of Da Nang Sea: A special combination of ‘goi ca’ (raw fish salad) and Nam O fish sauce, experience exchanges between chefs; theworkshop ‘The role of chefs, artisans, and businessmen in preserving and developing Da Nang culinary heritage’ and the introduction of products to suppliers.
At the event, residents and tourists can experience some typical local dishes such as Ba Lieu sesame seed dried cake, tapioca cakes and OCOP (One Commune –One Products) items.
