Over 100 businesses in Da Nang supported with market expansion skills
More than 100 Da Nang-based enterprises were provided with necessary knowledge and skills to expand markets in a training programme held in the city from April 9 - 11.
The event was jointly organised by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Department of Enterprise Development under the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Da Nang Business Support Center under the municipal Department of Planning and Investment.
The purpose of the programme was to improve knowledge and skills for small-sized or growing businesses in the fields of agricultural production, tourism and supporting products, and support them in updating and having good skills when doing e-commerce business and developing distribution channels, thereby promoting digital business and expanding the market.
After the training programme, participating businesses got free 1:1 consultation with experts according to their needs.
The training programme was part of USAID's Improving Private Sector Competitiveness project (USAID IPSC).
Notably, USAID is providing other support packages worth of up to US$150,000 each for growing small and medium-sized enterprises, and other support packages for cooperatives and business households.
