A conference to connect supply and demand between Da Nang and Tuyen Quang Province in 2024 was held in the city on Thursday.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Hanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Da Nang, introduced the cooperation and development of Da Nang's trade sector.

Co-organised by the Departments of Industry and Trade of Da Nang and Tuyen Quang Province, the event saw the participation of about 30 businesses, production facilities, distributors, and retail establishments with more than 100 typical products.

The conference provided an opportunity for enterprises and distributors of the two localities to introduce their products, expand consumption market, boost economic cooperation and trade connections, and promote production and business activities.

During the event, representatives of the Departments of Industry and Trade of the two localities exchanged information about the strengths, potential, advantages and typical products in the industry and trade sectors.

A representative of the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade hoped to expand product consumption market connections and further foster trade cooperation relationships between the two localities in the coming time.

Meanwhile, a representative of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Department of Industry and Trade expressed the desire that the conference will create a premise to promote and introduce specialties and typical products of the province such as tea, honey and herbs to people of Da Nang.

Within the framework of the conference, representatives of the Departments of Industry and Trade of the two localities, and participating businesses, signed 9 Memoranda of Understanding on the connections between production facilities and supermarkets, convenience store chains, traditional markets and OCOP product selling points.
