The Da Nang People’s Committee has just issued a plan to organise the Da Nang Innovation and Startup Festival - SURF 2024. Accordingly, SURF 2024 has the theme ‘Reaching Creativity - Global Connection’, spreading the message “Da Nang - City of innovation”.

The event is expected to gather the participation and connection of many elements of the startup ecosystem, including the city’s government, departments, incubators, investors, startup advisors, businesses - partners, startups, innovative startup communities.

This is an opportunity to connect and support businesses and startups in finding business opportunities, promoting products and services, investing and recruiting; gradually forming a community of angel investors, venture capital funds and startup communities in the city.

Within the framework of the event series, activities are slated to take place such as an innovative startup exhibition on a virtual reality exhibition platform from May to December 2024; Da Nang Innovation Start-up Festival from August 29, 30 at the Da Nang University of Science and Technology; Online Innovation Startup Competition with about 50 teams; workshop ‘Model and network for developing startup student clubs in Da Nang’.
