Hong Kong Airlines' daily round-trip route adds to the existing network, bringing the total number of international flights between Hong Kong and Da Nang to 21/week.

This newly launched air service significantly contributes to boosting Da Nang's international tourism recovery, and opening up many opportunities to connect Da Nang with other destinations in the region and around the world.

Aside from Hong Kong Airlines, Da Nang enjoys established connections with Hong Kong through Hong Kong Express with a frequency of 10 flights/week, and VietJet Air with 4 flights/week. Hong Kong Airlines complements these options with its direct service operating seven days a week.

Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Hoai An affirmed that the opening of a new service was a very happy sign for Da Nang tourism as it increasingly attracted more key tourist markets.

In addition to the ceremony to welcome the flight, the local tourism industry plans to organise many activities to promote Da Nang tourism in the Hong Kong market, as well as expand and restore more flight routes from the Chinese tourist market.
