Impressive Da Nang beach flower walk

A beach flower walk in Da Nang has been attracting large numbers of visitors who come to admire the beauty of the flower-adorned route, enjoy the decorative miniatures, take photos, and capture beautiful moments since it was officially opened to the public on July 5.

With the desire to create a new attraction for local residents and tourists during the summer of 2024, the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches organized the "Beach Flower Walk" space along the sidewalk and beach on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the Vo Van Kiet intersection to Sao Bien Beach, featuring 13 attractive decorative clusters.

The flower walk is artistically designed with a vast array of brilliant flowering tropical plants, along with plenty of spectacular art installations and lighting effects. It adds more colours to Da Nang's beach area, complementing the previously invested and maintained green landscape, and creating attractive highlights.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Vu, Head of the Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang Tourist Beaches, mentioned that following the city's direction, the Management Board coordinated with various units to decorate the walk. During this time, the unit also called on businesses at the beach to maintain environmental hygiene in their areas and to cooperate with the management board in decorating with flowers and other suitable forms to enhance the beauty of the flower walk.

The "Da Nang Beach Flower Walk" project is organised along the sidewalk of Vo Nguyen Giap Street with flower and foliage decoration clusters.

Accordingly, the first cluster with with wind flower garden is located on the sandy area in front of the Lang Ong (Whale Temple) Park at the intersection of Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District. It is inspired by flower roads but using modern materials like stainless steel, with flowers that rotate in the sea breeze, creating a striking landscape feature illuminated at night.

Cluster 2: DA NANG BEACH signage is situated south of the Lang Ong Park, serving as a strong visual identifier for residents and tourists from Vo Nguyen Giap and Vo Van Kiet streets.

Cluster 3 call “Fish Strolling on the Beach” is positioned in front of the Grand Tourane Hotel, featuring recycled bicycles decorated with flowers and foliage. Cluster 4, Sailboats, is located in front of the My Khe Hotel, using recycled wood, fabric, and nets, combined with flower and foliage decorations.

Cluster 5, Lotus Pond, is in front of the T20 Guest House, with a lotus pond made from fishing nets and fresh flowers, along with flower and foliage decorations. Cluster 6, Fish Habitat, is positioned in front of My Khe 2 Hotel, made from wood or plastic, combined with flower and foliage decorations.

Cluster 7, Paper Flower Umbrellas, is located in front of My Khe 2 Hotel, featuring ready-made flower trees from the nursery, combined with flower and foliage decorations. Cluster 8, Marine Lanterns, is situated in front of the Nesta Hotel, made from iron frames and acrylic (or stainless steel), combined with flower and foliage backgrounds.

Cluster 9, Flower Waves, is located in front of Muong Thanh Hotel, featuring wave-shaped structures, combined with flower and foliage decorations. Cluster 10, Fish Fin Flowers, is positioned in front of Lang Ghe Bien Restaurant, featuring fish fin shapes, combined with flower and foliage decorations.

Cluster 11, Starfish Flowers, is in front of Lang Ghe Bien Restaurant, featuring starfish shapes, combined with flower and foliage decorations. Cluster 12, Flower Clock, is located in front of the An Thuong Tourist Street Park, featuring a clock face, combined with flower and foliage decorations. Cluster 13, Flower Gate, is positioned at the entrance to the beach promenade at the intersections of Vo Van Kiet and Hoang Ke Viem streets.

Nguyen Thi Quynh An, a tourist from Phu Tho Province, mentioned that her family visited Da Nang for the 2024 International Fireworks Festival. Coincidentally, the city also organises the Da Nang Beach Flower Road 2024 with many impressive and beautiful designs. Hwang Seo Jin, a tourist from South Korea, shared her excitement, saying it was her first time experiencing the new flower road. Although the road was still under construction, she found the designs diverse and fascinating.

Meanwhile, Tran Phan Diem Hang, a tourist from Da Lat City, expressed her admiration, saying that she visited Da Nang to see her relatives and was impressed by the beautiful and grand Beach Flower Walk 2024, which lived up to its reputation.
