Ninh Thuan Culture - Tourism Day celebrated in Da Nang
A special event to highlight the cultural features and tourism potential of the central province of Ninh Thuan is being held at the eastern end of Da Nang’s Dragon Bridge until July 15.

In his speech delivered at the opening ceremony of the event on Sunday evening, Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the People's Committee Tran Quoc Nam, as part of the South Central Coast region said Ninh Thuan Province was located in the national tourism cluster of the Da Lat - Nha Trang - Phan Rang tourism triangle.
Ninh Thuan boasts a coastline of more than 105km, diverse species of seafood, and many famous landscapes. The Vinh Hy Bay is ranked as a national scenic relic, one of the eight most beautiful bays in Viet Nam.
The artistic heritage of Cham pottery has been officially inscribed on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Safeguarding. Additionally, the Kate festival; Cham cultural art with folk songs and dances; traditional crafts, customs and religious rituals of the Cham people; and Cham towers have become valuable tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Vietnamese culture.

To develop tourism commensurate with its potential and achieve the goal of making tourism a spearhead economic sector by 2025 and a truly economic sector with sustainable development by 2030, authorities in Ninh Thuan have prioritised appealing for investment in projects in the northern and southern sides of the province, and the centre of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City with the purpose to form a system of hotels, commercial centres, entertainment complexes combined with resort and accommodation.
Besides, the locality has laid an emphasis on building and developing distinctive and attractive tourism products, and at the same time, promoting linkage and cooperation in tourism development with provinces and cities in the central coastal region and others nationwide.

“We are willing to welcome and accompany tourism businesses, and tourism real estate investors at both home and abroad. In particular, investors will be offered the most favourable conditions to effectively do business and successfully implement their projects in the province" Chairman Tran Quoc Nam affirmed.
Also speaking at the event, Deputy Director of the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism Ha Van Sieu highlighted the event aimed to advertise the image and destinations of Ninh Thuan along with culture, people, unique tourism products, and high-quality services, to Da Nang people.

He added the organisation of the event in Da Nang proved the provincial government’s strong determination in forming a more diverse and attractive tourism value chain, opening up many new opportunities for investment ideas to develop many unique tourism products, and sharing development experiences each other among Da Nang, Ninh Thuan and other localities in the south central coast region.
Themed "Ninh Thuan - Land of Convergence of Different Values", the "Ninh Thuan Culture - Tourism Day in Da Nang" is taking place until July 15. It features a wide range of unique and attractive activities such as special art programmes, the experience of making Cham pottery and brocade weaving, and the performance of traditional musical instruments.
In addition, there are 50 booths displaying and introducing the beauty of culture and tourism; very unique and different destinations and scenic spots; OCOP products, typical agricultural products; and specialties of Ninh Thuan Province.
