Six provinces in the northern mountainous (Viet Bac) region, namely Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang, displayed and introduced their tourism products at the Muong Thanh Grand Hotel, 962 Ngo Quyen, Son Tra District, Da Nang, on Monday.

The activity was part of the annual "Through Viet Bac Heritage Sites" programme which is a regional cultural and tourism promotion program held alternately in the provinces for 14 years. Up to now, the programme has created a unique tourism brand of the six Viet Bac provinces - a safe, friendly and attractive destination.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Bac Kan Provincial People's Committee Pham Duy Hung said that Viet Bac was a place of cultural convergence and interference of many ethnic minority groups, with many unique customs, practices, festivals, folk culture, cuisine and traditional crafts.

Viet Bac provinces boast beautiful natural landscapes, diverse ecosystems with primeval forests, systems of rivers, lakes, waterfalls, majestic caves, and famous landmarks, making them inviting destinations to domestic and international tourists.

According to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the central coastal city and the six Viet Bac provinces shared many similarities and advantages in tourism development with unique tourism products showcasing in-depth cultural and historical value.

The Viet Bac region is the cradle of revolution, preserving valuable historical and traditional cultural values ​​with many unique cultural heritages and famous landscapes that still retains its pristine, majestic and typical beauty.
