A famtrip delegation, comprising 20 representatives from golf tour operators, experienced golf tourism services and conducted surveys about tourism products in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province from August 27 - 30, within the framework of the ongoing BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2024.

In particular, the 20 representatives of golf tour operators were from Japan, Taiwan (China), Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Singapore.

They experienced playing golf at the Ba Na Hills Golf Club, managed by IMG Group. This course has been recognised as “Best Golf Course in Viet Nam” for 6 consecutive years and “Best Golf Course in Asia” for the 5^th time in 2021. They also surveyed the golf services at the Legend Danang Golf Resort and the Hoiana Shore Golf Club.

Additionally, the delegation visited prominent destinations and high-class accommodation establishments in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province, including Han Market, Hoi An Ancient Town, Mikazuki Japanese Resort and Spa Da Nang, Four Points by Sheraton Danang, New World Hoiana Beach Resort, Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, and Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center.

The delegation also attended and interacted with international professional golfers at the welcome party within the framework of the ongoing BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2024.

After experiencing golf services in Da Nang, the visitors highly appreciated the facilities, and products of tourism in general and those of golf tourism in particular of the city. At the same time, they highly lauded the warm and thoughtful hospitality of the partner unit, thereby hoping for long-term cooperation in the coming time.

Mr. Wang Tien Bao, Senior Sports and Tourism Marketing Director of the Lion Travel Company - a member of the Famtrip delegation, praised the favourable geographic location of golf courses in Da Nang as they are close to the airport and popular tourist attractions. The golf course infrastructure is of high quality and well maintained, the cost is reasonable, and the hotel infrastructure is also excellent. He hoped that the golf courses will have more golf playing sessions at different time frames for guests to experience.

In the coming time, Lion Travel plans to cooperate with Starlux Airlines to organise a golf tournament in Central Viet Nam with more than 110 golfers participating, he informed.

"We look forward to having the opportunity to cooperate with the Da Nang Department of Tourism in the near future in order to bring the best golf experience in Da Nang to customers around the world", Mr. Wang Tien Bao emphasised.

Da Nang has three international-class golf courses: the Legend Da Nang Golf Resort (including 2 Nicklaus and Norman courses), and the Ba Na Hills Golf Club. These golf courses have unique terrain, designed by experienced legendary golfers.
