Within the framework of the ongoing Da Nang Innovation Startup Festival - SURF 2024, the programme "Idea Presentation - Investment Connection in Startups" was held in the city on Thursday.

Fourteen Memoranda of Understanding were signed to promote the development of the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang.

During the event, many activities of introduction, connection, and signing took place, creating opportunities for local startups to approach and call on capital from investors and investment funds.

According to the municipal Department of Science and Technology, the programme offered the good opportunity for participating startups to appeal for capital and connect domestic and international investment funds and investors.

In addition to new projects/startups, quality projects that were cultivated and trained at the international conference "Da Nang Venture Capital and Angels - DAVAS 2024" had the opportunity to shine, and introduce their growth and development to domestic and foreign investors. This helped projects/startups accumulate experience in calling on investment capital, and soon become "unicorns" in the world. Units, funds and angel investors found potential projects to invest in and accompany their development in the future.

At the programme, after presenting the project, startups were connected 1:1 with investors, customers and partners.

Moreover, 14 Memoranda of Understanding on promote the development of the innovative startup ecosystem in Da Nang were signed between businesses, startups and investors and partners.

Also, there was a talk show themed "Innovation in fundraising strategies for startups, creating social impact”, helping startups have more ideas, development strategies and new approaches.
