Recent days, traditional markets across Da Nang have witnessed a significant increase in the number of people and tourists compared to normal days. The prices of goods are stable and have specific listed prices.

During the 4-day break for National Day holiday (September 2), the city has welcomed a large number of tourists at both home and abroad. Therefore, traditional markets in the city have recorded revenue growth.
As observed on the morning of September 1, plenty of tourists visited the Con Market to shop. During the holiday, the market is expected to welcome about 3,000-4,000 visitors per day.
Mr. Pham Van Binh, Deputy Head of the Con Market Management Board, said that the number of visitors to the market was mostly domestic tourists, and the number of visitors to Da Nang in the first 2 days was relatively small. However, like every year, the number of visitors will increase sharply in the last 2 days of the holiday.
Tourists will go to traditional markets to buy food and dried goods as gifts for their relatives before the end of their trip. Small traders have prepared enough goods to supply customers. Prices of goods are generally stable.

According to many traders, the purchasing power at the market increased slightly in the first 2 days of the holiday and is expected to surge in the last 2 days.
To ensure the shopping needs of people and tourists, small traders have increased the amount of inventory. At stalls, consumer and dried goods are displayed in a variety of eye-catching, and specific prices are listed.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, a tourist from Nghe An Province, shared "I found the prices of the items at the market very reasonable, our group bought a lot of specialties as gifts for our relatives”.

Similarly, the Han Market, in the first 2 days of the holiday, received over 5,000 visitors each day. During the holiday, in addition to international visitors, a large number of domestic tourists also came to the market.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Head of the Han Market Management Board, said that the goods are of guaranteed quality, have clear origins, and have QR codes for visitors to check when shopping. In particular, during the period, the market is implementing the programme "Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods".
Moreover, the management board has implemented propaganda for the forces and traders at the market to comply with the regulations, especially implementing civilised commercial markets.
