The event was jointly organised by the Soiva Viet Nam Carbon Credit Trading and Distribution Service Association and the JeollaNamdo Provincial Government in South Korea.
The trading and distribution of carbon credits is a part of the cooperation activities for the development of smart cities between South Korea and Viet Nam.
The operation of direct flights between Muan International Airport in JeollaNamdo Province and airports in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Da Lat in Viet Nam not only creates a favourable condition for transportation but fosters cooperation between the two sides in tourism, investment, and carbon credit trading in the future.
It is known that Soiva's carbon credit trading and distribution service is a smart city standard technology recognised by the South Korean government, allowing continuous operation of global-scale trading services, aiming for carbon neutrality.
Soiva standard technology allows products manufactured in compliance with carbon neutral criteria to be distributed to intermediaries, buyers, and consumers. This technology can monitor all activities during the distribution process to ensure carbon neutrality throughout the process.
In addition, Soiva standard technology is a global carbon credit trading and distribution standard technology, providing a distribution platform for end-use product recyclers to easily comply with carbon neutrality regulations continuously, and ensuring that recycled products can be re-consumed.
The establishment of a carbon credit trading and distribution centre with Soiva standard technology in Viet Nam will create a trading environment for the international-scale production, trade, consumption and supply chain in align with the international carbon neutrality principle between South Korea and Viet Nam.
