Coming to Da Nang for the first time, Mr. Muhamad Izwan Ab Manan, a Malaysian tourist, was impressed with the beauty of the beach city of Da Nang. He planned to stay in the city for 4 days to visit some of local popular tourist destinations such as the Cau Vang (Golden Bridge) at the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, the Dragon Bridge, and Da Nang beaches.

Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung assessed that Malaysia's national airline has a very large flight network to other international markets. This will be a potential market to Da Nang, and the opening of the Kuala Lumpur - Da Nang air route marks a larger, deeper and more sustainable development step for Da Nang’s tourism industry. This also shows the effectiveness of the city's previous tourism promotion trip to Malaysia.
According to Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Tan Van Vuong, Malaysia has been listed in top ten international tourist markets to Da Nang. In recent times, leaders of the local tourism industry and tourism businesses have organised a number of activities to promote tourism in Malaysia.

In the coming time, the city's tourism industry will continue to coordinate with Malaysia's national airline to organize famtrips and presstrips, facilitating KOLs, travel firms and media agencies in Malaysia, to visit, survey and experience local tourism products.
The opening of a new air route between Kuala Lumpur and Da Nang has increased the total number of flights between Kuala Lumpur and Viet Nam to 34 flights per week.
With a flight network spanning Asia, Europe, and Oceania with nearly 1,000 destinations in more than 170 countries and territories worldwide, Da Nang’s tourism industry expects Malaysia Airlines to be a bridge for the city to expand its tourist market to other destinations around the world.
