Within the framework of the ongoing "Meet Thailand in Da Nang" event, a display of typical products from Viet Nam and Thailand is opening at Da Nang’s APEC Sculpture Park until September 27, with 32 booths of 24 Vietnamese and Thai businesses.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Da Nang People's Committee.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event on Thursday, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi highly appreciated the coordination of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City in co-organising the "Meet Thailand in Da Nang" event, which she said is a good opportunity to enhance the friendship and cooperation between localities and enterprises in Viet Nam and Thailand.

50% of the booths are displaying Thai products. The participating enterprises displayed many agricultural products, consumer goods and OCOP products, thereby promoting national brands and seeking trade cooperation opportunities.

The event is also an opportunity to promote economic, trade, investment, tourism, cultural and educational cooperation between localities and enterprises in Viet Nam and Thailand, actively contributing to fostering the strategic partnership between the two countries.
