Four airports in central Viet Nam temporarily suspend operations on Sunday due to impacts of typhoon Trami, the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam (CAAV) recently announced.

Accordingly, Phu Bai International Airport in Thua Thien Hue Province halts operations from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, whilst Dong Hoi Airport in Quang Binh Province remains closed from 6:00 am to 7:00pm on Sunday.

Da Nang International Airport closes from 6:00 am on Sunday until 4:00 am on Monday.

Chu Lai Airport in Quang Nam Province suspends services from 10:00 am on Sunday until 10 am on Monday.

The CAAV stated that the suspensions are necessary due to the potential threat Typhoon Trami poses to aviation safety. The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation has alerted flights heading to central Vietnam about the closures.
