Representatives from more than 300 businesses across Da Nang attended a forum “Business Connectivity” 2024 on Wednesday.

Co-organised by the Authority of the Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks, the municipal Labour Federation, and the Lao Dong (Labour) Newspaper, the forum created connectivity opportunities between State management agencies and businesses.

During the event, participating businesses were informed about the city's outstanding investment attraction policies and guidelines, including the National Assembly's approval to establish the Da Nang Free Trade Zone associated with Lien Chieu Seaport with the goal of attracting investment, finance, trade, tourism and high-quality services.

When participating in the free trade zone, businesses will receive many benefits, especially those operating in industrial parks located on the city's main traffic routes.

Also, businesses shared on many topics such as demand for connecting service supply; experiences in attracting investment and supplying factory needs; and industrial park infrastructure and housing solutions for workers.

On this occasion, 7 cooperation agreements were signed between State management agencies and enterprises.

Specifically, the Authority of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks signed a cooperation agreement with the Dinco Construction Engineering JSC on consulting support for enterprises in operating in industrial parks and hi-tech park in implementing related legal procedures.

The Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the IYES International Education Co., Ltd. inked an agreement on building a programme to improve language skills in the business environment.

Cooperation agreements on packaging supply were signed between the Asia Architecture and Trading Co., Ltd. and the ARENA TECHNOLOGIES Co., Ltd.; the Vinh Nghiep Paper Co., Ltd. and Long Khai JSC; and the Tan Long Packaging Co., Ltd. and the Vafi JSC.

Meanwhile, cooperation agreements on product and service supply were signed between the Huynh Duc Trading, Service and Production Co., Ltd. and the Oceana Co., Ltd., and the Huynh Duc Trading, Service and Production Co., Ltd. and the Nitto Jokaso Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The forum was part of a series of activities, organised by the Authority of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks in coordination with relevant units, to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024).
