Two Da Nang projects have won prizes at the 2024 Central Region Women’s Startup Competition. The final round of the event, themed ‘Women's creative startups, green transformation', has recently been organised by the Viet Nam Women’s Union.

Accordingly, the Central Region final round highlighted the participation of a total of 25 startup projects, including 22 projects from 16 Vietnamese provinces and cities and three others from the Viet Nam Association of People with Disabilities.

 ‘Enhancing the value of Vietnamese herring - Sustainable business solutions’ by the business household ‘43 Foods’, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang won a third prize. The startup project ‘Enhancing the value of Viet Nam tourism - Cocimo bamboo tube sausage’ by the Cam Le Bamboo Tube Sausage Cooperative, Cam Le District won an encouragement prize.

In addition, the two Da Nang projects received the ‘Vietnamese Women Confidently Doing Business’ award worth VND10 million/project.

It was the sixth year that the Viet Nam Women’s Union had organised the Women’s Startup Competition with 2,545 projects from many fields of production and business. Projects that won third prize or higher will continue to participate in the national final round of the Women's Startup Competition 2024 taking place in the capital city of Ha Noi in October 2024.
