On December 26, the Da Nang Women's Union organized the “OCOP Product Connection Fair” for 2024. Lasting until December 27, the event aims to connect, introduce, and promote unique OCOP (One Commune One Product) items made by women members from 52 production and business units in Da Nang, Quang Nam Province, and Thua Thien Hue Province.

As of the end of November 2024, Da Nang had 105 recognised OCOP products, including 38 products made by women members (22 achieving 3-star OCOP status, 15 achieving 4-star status, and 1 potential product submitted for 5-star evaluation). Many products were developed through the Women’s Startup Programme and have been supported, connected to market development, and had their quality enhanced.

 

The 2024 OCOP Product Connection Fair serves as an economic development activity, offering opportunities for networking, learning, and business growth for women entrepreneurs in the city and surrounding areas. It aims to bring agricultural products, handicrafts, processed foods, and regional specialties closer to consumers, contributing to the sustainable development of OCOP products.

The fair also features various activities, such as a seminar on "Applying Digitalisation in Customer Management" to enhance business efficiency and customer management, a “Tet Gift Basket Design Contest” with participation from eight teams, and a culinary corner.
