The Ministry of Transport has announced mechanisms and policies for managing domestic air transportation service prices and aviation-specific service fees, which will be effective from early January 2025.

Specifically, the basic domestic economy airfares will be sold in Viet Nam at the maximum level of groups as follows:

Routes for socio-economic development, which are less than 500km long, and other routes under 500km will have a maximum rate of VND 1.6 million - VND 1.7 million per one way ticket.

The routes of 500km to under 850km will have maximum ticket price of VND 2.250 million per one way ticket.

Meanwhile, the route of 850km to under 1,000km will have maximum ticket price of VND 2.890 million per one way ticket.

The distance of 1,000km to under 1,280km will have a maximum fare of VND 3.4 million per one way ticket.

The flight distance of 1,280km upward, the maximum ticket price will be VND 4 million per one way ticket.
